Predicting correct scores in football matches
France faces Croatia at the Stade de France in Paris in a second leg from the Nations League’s 1/4-finals. The Croatian team won the first leg by 2-0 which gave them a serious advantage. Now let’s see if they can hold on it. Here’s the preview in our Predicting correct scores in football matches.
The first leg in Split certainly didn’t go in France’s way. Les Bleus played a very bad game and made their task for the second game seriously complicated. Ante Budimir and Ivan Perisic scored for Croatia, while France were unable to score despite having so much force in attack. Didier Deschamps started the game with Ousmane Dembele, Kylian Mbappe and Randal Kolo Muani upfront, but it wasn’t enough.
Michael Olise and Bradley Barcola could be the answer for France’s woes in the second leg. Both of them played as substitutes in Split, but now they could be in line to start.
Croatia’s manager Zlatko Dalic doesn’t have a reason to make any changes in his line-up – his boys already did amazing work on Thursday night. Ante Budimir did his job and scored a goal while Kramaric, Baturina and Perisic supported him from behind. Once again Croatia’s legendary captain Luka Modric led the team by example in midfield.
If Zlatko Dalic decides to make a change, Atalanta’s Mario Pasalic could be a starter. The 30-years old has enough experience to help the team at a difficult ground such as Stade de France. Pasalic is also a good attacking player who could create some danger upfront.
That’s the Predicting correct scores in football matches for the Nations League 1/4-finals clash between France and Croatia. Can the French team erase Croatia’s advantage? They made their task very difficult, but they are still not out of the competition. Let’s see what’s going to happen.
